Breakdowns and accidents don't follow business hours, so our dispatch line at (614) 290-8512 is always answered, and a tow truck can be sent to you anywhere in the Columbus metro area at any time.

In most parts of Columbus and nearby suburbs, our average response time is 30–45 minutes, depending on traffic, weather, and your exact location. Because our yard is located on South High Street near I-71 and Route 104, we can quickly reach downtown Columbus, the South Side, and all major freeways including I-70, I-270, I-670, and SR-315.

To speed up dispatch, have ready: (1) your exact location (street address, intersection, mile marker, or a nearby landmark), (2) your vehicle's make, model, and color, (3) what happened (accident, breakdown, flat, lockout, etc.), and (4) where you want the vehicle taken. If you're on a highway like I-270, the direction of travel and nearest exit number help our driver find you faster.

In most cases, yes one passenger can usually ride in the cab with the driver, seatbelt required, depending on space and safety conditions. If you have additional passengers, children in car seats, or pets, let dispatch know when you call so we can plan accordingly.

We tow sedans, SUVs, pickup trucks, vans, motorcycles, AWD/4WD vehicles, and low-clearance or luxury vehicles. Tell us what you drive when you call  vehicles with all-wheel drive or low ground clearance are typically transported on equipment suited to prevent drivetrain or undercarriage damage.

Turn on your hazard lights, and if possible, move your vehicle out of active traffic lanes. On highways, stay inside your vehicle with your seatbelt on if you're in or near a travel lane — or stand well away from the roadway behind a guardrail. Never stand behind or beside a disabled vehicle on I-270, I-70, or I-71. Our dispatcher can stay in contact with you until the driver arrives.
